Amazon currently has a pack of two, fifteen ounce containers of Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil on sale for just $10, if you use their subscribe and save feature. This was on sale a few weeks ago as well, and I decided to try it. So far I've been using a little bit in mango coconut smoothies and it is great. You can also use this oil to cook or bake, and you can even use it for skin care. I'm excited to try it out on something other than smoothies! I used gift cards that I earned from Swagbucks, and I got it for free.

Since I joined Swagbucks in November 2008 I have earned over $400 in Amazon gift cards, all for spending a few minutes a day searching through the site. Referrals are amazing because you are able to earn what your referrals earn, up to a certain limit. There are two new promotions that will be going on next week.
1. Monday there will be a Swag Code Extravaganza - they'll be releasing at least 5 Swag Codes throughout the day - this would be a great way for any newcomers to start out with a bang!
2. Each day next week they'll be highlighting a different high value Swag Buck bill, starting on Monday with the 25. Every 7th searching win on Swagbucks will be awarded that big bill, meaning that more people will have big wins next week!
Swagbucks has a code available for new members so that you will start with 20 Swagbucks. The code SUMMEROFSWAG will be valid until Friday June 11th at Midnight PST.

It's been quite some time since I've posted my monthly progress, but I want to try to get back into that habit. Things were crazy this month and we've really been trying to save due to some job insecurity. So I'm happy to say that we were able to put $1600 in savings for May! So far I put $500 in savings for June, but I'm hopeful that we will meet our $1500 goal.
I've always gotten a new cellphone when the two years of my contract were up, even if there was nothing wrong with my phone. I've just always been enticed by newer and shinier gadgets. I can get a new one now, but I'm feeling a bit clueless and not sure if I even want to.
I'll admit, I was really holding out hope that the iPhone was going to be offered by Verizon, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. Other than that, I have no idea what phone I would even want. We don't have a land line and my phone works well, and I don't want to jinx that. Besides that, I've developed the habit of dropping my phone every morning, so I'm not sure that I'm ready for something new.
Now I see that Amazon has a new wireless store, so I think I'm going to check that out and try to figure out what phones are even available now.
